What are white tooth fillings made of?

White tooth fillings are made of composite resin, a blend of ceramic and plastic. Unlike amalgam fillings, which are made of a blend of metals, they can be matched to the color of your other teeth so they aren’t noticeable in your smile. They also cause fewer allergy issues than amalgam.

Which tooth fillings are safe?

Although no definitive evidence has been found that silver mercury fillings are harmful to human health, we prefer to err on the conservative side. That’s why we use completely safe and beautiful composite resin tooth fillings. These tooth-colored fillings are made up of tiny particles of glass and plastic, not metal.

How long do tooth fillings last?
